Caring for Waiheke Animals

Waiheke Island Society for the Care of Animals is an independent Not for Profit organisation dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership of Waiheke Island’s animals.

We strive to provide a safe haven for all animals in need, rehoming them in suitable and informed new homes. We are dedicated to the pursuit of preventing unwanted breeding through desexing.

WISCA actively promotes community education for the betterment of ALL animals on Waiheke. We work with local groups to create an all-encompassing approach to responsible pet ownership.

We are a Not for Profit charity, raising  funds for the society primarily through  the sale of donations from the local Waiheke community at our op shop. The shop is open 6 days a week.

Centre Manager Michell Hopkins explains why WISCA chooses Hills Pet Nutrition.
